Privacy Policy for Bible App - Ad Free

Development of the Arts provides Bible App - Ad Free, also known as The Holy Scriptures. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information through the app. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, or other personal details to read or use its Bible features.

The app contains no advertisements or advertising trackers. We do not sell, rent, or use your personal information for targeted advertising.

Information stored on your device

The app stores information needed for its features, such as notes, highlights, reading preferences, and settings, locally on your device. This information is not sent to Development of the Arts.

Your device’s backup services may handle app data according to your device settings and the service provider’s privacy policy.

Voice search and microphone access

Voice search is optional. If you choose to use it, the app requests microphone and speech-recognition permissions to convert your spoken words into search text.

Speech recognition uses services provided by your device or its speech-recognition provider. Depending on your device, settings, and available services, speech may be processed on your device or sent to that provider for processing under its privacy policy.

Development of the Arts does not receive or retain your voice recordings. You can disable microphone or speech-recognition permissions in your device settings and continue using text search.

Sharing, saving, and files

When you choose to share, export, import, or save content, the app uses the files, destinations, or services you select. Information you share is handled by the receiving app or service under its own privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

We do not maintain a server-side account or personal-data profile for you. You can remove locally stored app data through available app or device controls. Uninstalling the app generally removes its local data; device backups and files you exported may remain until you delete them separately.

If you voluntarily contact us, we receive the information you include, such as your email address and message. We use it to respond to your inquiry and retain it only as needed to handle the request or meet applicable legal obligations.
